Hi, I am using a crappy computer to map until I get my new parts for new computer, I have a compile log and need someone to check for the error, I am using the ZHL tools.

It starts to compile, then comes up with "Windows" error, click that of then it compiles/loads game/map/goes to "precatch for loading map...then crashes and goes back to Hammer compile log, I have attached the log, many thanks....

Hi,

One theory is your using too many wads allowed...

This concerns me: Error: Portal file 'C:SierraCounter-Strikecstrikemapsde
_killa.prt' does not exist, cannot vis the map

Remove the wads cause:
  • Contains 0 used textures, 0.00 percent of map (22 textures in wad)
You got that about 10 times...

Finally I just realised the guy that made ZHLT "amckern@yahoo.com"...I used to work with him :|

Adding -wadautodetect at the end of the CSG command line will make it remove WADs that aren't used. Also, the PRT file is missing because you're not running hlbsp.

{edit}..Ok I set up options ok, when I compile it gets windows message as follows
C:DOCUME~1jeffLOCALS~1TempWER17E.tmp.dir00appcompat.txt
Anyone? ..sorry to be a pain :|
