Hey guys, ive started making a surf map, and i came across a problem the last time i tried to test my map. When im joining the server, it closes and i get a Fatal Error window, it says:

Error: lightmap for aaatexture too large (83 x 133 = 11039 luxels); cannot exceed 324

If anyone knows, that would be great to hear from you.

Thanks

According to Tommy's database, your map file (either the rmf, map, or bsp) is corrupted: http://www.slackiller.com/tommy14/errors.htm#flicker

well what i did was delete those huge walls i had of aaatrigger, i was using them to make invisible walls to stop people from cheating on the surf map, if any of you have played surf, you know what i mean, i guess i will make a invisible wall soem other way. the problem is fixed, im off to the tutorials =)

Just use the clip texture instead of aaa, if you want an invisible wall.
The aaatrigger texture may cause errors, if it's not tied to entity. :)

anyone know what daubster means by clip texture?

It's merely a brush textured with the CLIP texture (search for it in the texture browser).

In-game, it will be invisible, but players can't pass through it.
