Okay, I've played maps that have camera's before in counter-strike source (or at least I think they did) but when I go to make a point_camera entity it doesn't exist under the CS:S configuration for Hammer :(

I didn't see a func_screen either but I did see info_camera_link. Did they put an info_camera_link entity in for jokes or is there a different entity you use to make the actual camera?

I'm not sure but two guesses...

1. They just made an entity..Anything? Then renamed it to point_camera and manually added the smartedit...

This sounds a bit farfetched so my next guess is they opened the map in HL2 Hammer and added it there then opened again in CS:S and there you have it.

That's wierd that they didnt but thats cool I just went to HL2 configuration and made it then switched back and it worked fine. I wonder why they didn't just add it in if you could have it in game :

Thanks again though :)

Because Valve's lazy. :P

And I'm a guy, Arcan. ;)

Yes, there's an "expert" version of the CS:S FGD file floating around. I can't remember the link to it, but I did link to it in another thread. Basically, it adds a bunch of entries to the FGD that should be there, but aren't.

After a few minutes of googling I found it for future refrence:

http://www.countermap2.com/

In the bottom right corner is a Source Expert FGD
Thanks for mentioning that, I remember having one for 1.6 and didn't even think about one for source :D
