Open up a page with a few images (the TWHL homepage works fine) and paste this into the address bar:

javascript:R=0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24; x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200; DI=document.getElementsByTagName("img"); DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i-DIL; i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute'; DIS.left=(Math.sin(R*x1+i*x2+x3)*x4+x5)+"px"; DIS.top=(Math.cos(R*y1+i*y2+y3)*y4+y5)+"px"}R++}setInterval( 'A()',5); void(0);

Hit enter and enjoy. :D

Found on the Sliced Gaming forums.

I have. Sun. :/

Edit: Oh! Ninja's! Thats random...

Im using Firefox btw, and i copied the java code into the addressbar, replacing the current url. Or do i have to add that code to the url or...? It seems none of those work.

Edit 2: LOL! Now it works. God knows why, i didn't changed anything. Looks neat. :)

Huh. When I did it, I didn't get ninjas (seen them before anyway), but instead, all the images on the page were offset a little. They were overlapping eachother, and covering some stuff up.

You must've done something wrong then Srry.

In answer to MF first enquiry, you replace the current URL with that code.

Odd, when i do it all the images move around left and right in the shape of a DNA strain.

Yeah, I get that too...

What's weird is that before it was going around in a circle. :/

Wooooooaaahhhhh :nuts: That's crazy. Nice find.

Odd, our effect is different to the original effect.

javascript:R=0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24; x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200; DI=document.getElementsByTagName("img"); DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i-DIL; i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute'; DIS.left=(Math.sin(R*x1+i*x2+x3)*x4+x5)+"px"; DIS.top=(Math.cos(R*y1+i*y2+y3)*y4+y5)+"px"}R++}setInterval( 'A()',5); void(0);

The images should be moving in a circle, not in the strange way it is for us. :P
Edit: Dangit, still can't get it. Oh well, click here and paste nshady's code in.

Nothing happens for me, I just get a little "error on page" down in the corner.

Edit:
Now it works.
I just needed to add a little space between "Javascript:" and the code.
Cool.

Yea doesnt work for me :(

Maybez its firefox?
Posted 17 years ago2006-10-12 17:33:17 UTC Post #199440
I'm having a problem with being able to copy and paste all the code, it leaves a chunk behind for some reason.

[edit] You need to copy and paste after every "px" and place each chunk in the address bar. Finally got it to work, nice job.
Posted 17 years ago2006-10-12 23:18:05 UTC Post #199493
works for me with firefox, though i must add i did not get it the first few times
Posted 17 years ago2006-10-12 23:19:19 UTC Post #199494
Works on FF for me too. I copied it from the forum though.
Posted 17 years ago2006-10-13 00:43:23 UTC Post #199496
Yeah, it only seems to work when you copy from the forum. When I copy from TWHL, it only gives bits of the code, as DarkK said.
Posted 17 years ago2006-10-13 07:38:31 UTC Post #199511
I got the circles working. Its crazy as hell with the smileys.
Posted 17 years ago2006-10-13 10:32:53 UTC Post #199542
TWHL breaks lines up in a nasty manner when posts become too big, which is why copy-pasting borks up.

so would the [ pre ] [ / pre ] commands fix it?
