As far as I know, it is not entirely common to have your school, college or workplace right across the street. How far away is your daily destination away from your home? How long does it take you to get there?

I made a path in this Google Earth pic.

My uni is 23 kilometers (about 14 miles) from my house. By car, it takes about 25 minutes to get there. If I take the private university bus, it takes me about 50 minutes. If I use the subway and regular bus lines, the trip can take almost 2 hours.

I have to drive to college. Its about a 45 minute drive. I just take the parkway, and I get there pretty fast :)

Quite a trip there, Kasperg. My work is only a 3 minute drive from my house, thankfully.

High school is about 4 miles away, and the bus ride takes about 15 mins or so. There and back.

my school is about 11 minutes walk away.

My place of "work" is 54 minutes by bus, then 3 minutes waiting at traffic lights to cross the road.

Is it sad that i measure my average journey times?

My school is like 10 minutes by bus -> 15 minutes by train -> 10 minutes by foot, so about 35 minutes total... if the trains had gone on time, which they never do.
