?reload script
?shows 3 new barney entities
?shows enemy barney coding

They're all re-skinned for the mod.

What's new in that barney video?
Thats what I was pointing out.But it seems all I got is people's aggresive answers.Hunter just pointed out the new stuff on the barney but nobody would actually notice it until he said it.You got now, what I meant?
Even if the monster wasn't a whole new one (it is a new one)
Not in my god damn opinion.
so what you're saying saco, is that it's not a "new monster" unless it has a new model?

go away.
No..thats not what I've said.If you read my previous post. You would understood it.

You guys are always like.

Im a bit uncomfortable calling the Barney a new monster, it's new codes and new entitys but it's still Barney? It's the same monster with new coding!
So it's more a remake or an update, it's not a new monster... But if the mod doesn't need new monsters it's rather stupid to make new monsters. If it just needs some updating then go with that... And we can see that you are already going with that so I didn't have to say that...

...But I did, I wounder why.

...No that's a lie, I don't wonder why and neither do you...

Well, this mod is turning out to be much more cinematic that i originally planned..
It's also branching miles away from Rimrook's Gyradell idea, but hey.. I just really love the look of abandoned places...

I'm gonna go ahead and put sploiler tags around what's coming up, even though they dont work.. But yeah, be warned that the following paragraph explains a large part of the story

Yeah, so it turns out that the thing the grunts have sacrificed their careers over is a crystal which harnasses so much energy, that anything non-organic which comes in contact with it, instantly decays, and organic matter begins grows within seconds..
Anyways, one of the Sigma science teams who were researching it, introduced a chemical to it which caused its effects to be much more wide-spread, so it no longer needs to touch something to decay it.

After reading that, I'm thinking the mod should be called Half-Life: Decay instead! :)

But that name is taken I believe ;) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half-Life:_Decay

Decay was a co-op game in the PS2 version of Half-life.

Man that was annoying on the PS2. I would have much rather played it on the PC.

Its looking pretty good. Too bad most of it is done. I do have another wad for you. Whether or not you need it, i don't know how far the mapping has gone.

The 3rd screeny is the best. Its better organized than the others. What ever you did there, you did it nicely.

hmm. the 3rd screenshot's room was roughly based off a photo.. i guess that helps.

I don't like the 4th pic. I think its the track texture along the walls. Its just a little out of place. Also the balaclava on barney looks a little flat. Also I think it looks too much...well...like barney. How about ripping the face off another model. (So to speak :) )

I'm not being a jerk again, but I only like the models and the 3rd pic.
The rest looks so..... bland. The texturing and architecture looks really poor in some screenshots. Take picture 5 for example. :

(The 'light grunt' model really looks sexy!)

Well... gyradell is an easy theme to accomplish. Take any scene from real-life and image moss, vines, and grunge all over it. Try checking out submarines, factories, old Europe structures, etc.

you have any plant models?
