It would be nice if Facebook gave a preview of the service on their site. I'm not sure what to expect if I register, then again they're probably just relying on person-to-person recommendations driving new registrations.
Is it anything like MySpace? Because from the descriptions it sounds like a MySpace style site, but cleaner-cut.

you make albums with pics of yourself, look for old friends, add them to your friends list and then comment on their "walls" or their pictures. No really blog part to it. you can write short notes and organize events as well as join groups or create your own. thats about it i suppose
