Iron Grip: The Oppression; the winner of ModDB?s monthly Mod of the Month award is calling for all gamers out there to come and play with the developers at our now weekly event!

All you need is a copy of Half-Life 2 to play. You can find all necessary files from http://www.isotx.com/index.php?topic=2099. The current version of the game is 1.21; keep in mind that you will need to install 1.2 before 1.21 for it to work!

Ah yes I saw this on HL2files and thought it might be worth a try...I assume the bugs have been fixed? Or at least the big ones?

Most bugs have indeed been fixed. The game lags less and crashes less, of course bugs are still present but even more will be fixed in the next patch, which is just around the corner.

This mod died on its ass almost immediately. The state of the modding community is somewhat sad: only those mods with outstanding media have managed to get a decent fan base, and the only mods with a good PLAYER base are the ones who released early (Gmod, Sourceforts, Hidden, Dystopia).

You'll find that recently released mods have just died within a couple weeks, which is saddening. I guess it was bound to happen though, if mod teams decide to release a half-assed buggy build to give bad first impressions.

Also, I tried Iron Grip for a little while, and was overwhelmed with fagtards calling me a noob and dumbass on my first game. This, coupled with many crashes and annoying bugs, made me quit the game and never want to come back.

It's in beta stage though, and were NOT dead. We are quite aware of the bug s and if you haven't tried 1.21 then you should. There's alot less bugs and crashes in our latest patch.
