Perhaps take a screenshot with F5 to show us what you mean...
Does this happen only with your map?

Post your compile log as well.

Ok
i cant see anything cept my two red lights
Were you expecting something else? Do you have light_enviroment? What are the settings?
the skybox went away
Was it actually visible? Are the brushes properly textured with "tools sky"?

It's a distant light which acts as sunlight. It is a must for maps with outdoor areas or sky brushes.
You just have to set a colour, direction and the value for the sun inclination (pitch)

So is the problem solved now? You might also like to use cubemaps in your map.

env_cubemap - Place one in each room and outdoor place about player height then compile, in-game type in console buildcubemaps and let it do its thing and voila. You have to do this everytime you re-compile the map or rename the BSP.

o sweet i dont think ill use it on my current map since its just a fy_iceworld cept bigger and with more cool things like houses and camras so you can have a peek at what the enemy is up to :) (this is going to sound pathetic but i dont know how to convert it to a zip file so i cant upload. if anyone wants to help...lol)

Cubemaps just make the game look correct...The nails on your hands won't look silver and walls won't glow in the dark etc...Just fixes the reflections.

Just make a zip file by right clicking and create zip then rename to whatever.zip

Drag the files you want in it and voila.

cool thanks habboi so all you do is create one env_cubemap and its all fixed like the light_enviornment dosent matter where you put em

Yes you create a ZIP and drag what you want into it.

Env_Cubemap can be put anywhere but it is a wise choice to put itin the middle of each area you make like room 1, room 2, outdoor 1 etc.

The light_environment doesn't matter but it is a great way also to customize your levels lighting. You could angle it so it shines a sunlight in the direction of a building so the shadows cast look really cool etc.

I think that you got a leak :P

I had and still have dosens of leaks and i got same effekt...

Why do i got still leaks? Because i cant find them... To fix it i just ma a hollow box around my map and use sky texture ;)

Which isn't a wise thing to do if you plan on releasing it as a full map. It just adds lag...Sure it's fine if it's for you and a mate to enjoy together on say Gmod but if you release it to the public you build the sky piece by piece and fit it all around the maps edges so perhaps walls or holes in the ceiling etc.

If you can't find leaks load the pointfile once you've compiled the map at least once and follow the red line it made. If it goes through something into the void then that thing is tied to an entity. Entities leak if they are outside of the map. The line could also be going through a very tiny hole so look closely.
