Hey this is becoming annoying and I don't ask for help unless I am sure I have tried everything...

Recently I decided to map again after a long break of like 4 weeks...So I compile my map after adding to it and I open CSS, open map etc...About 1/4 of loading and it closes with this error:

http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/6606/hmmmoc8.jpg

I have cornered the error...It only does this when I create server or do it manually in console. I just joined a server and it loaded fine...

Oh also it crashes with any map...

I've re-installed, I've verified, I've deleted files so that Steam makes new ones when I start it up again, I've sv_lanned 1, I've recompiled my maps with a refreshed SDK...Re-logged on Steam...

Anyone got an answer cause this is ridiculous...Oh I might as well mention this but earlier tonight while trying to fix it CSS crashed like normal and then when I went to Steam Games list all my games said preloaded and if I clicked them it said if I wanted to purchase them which gave me a right scare...Resetting fixed it...

I think the beta had something to do with it...Does IE have any connection to CSS? I had problems with that and had to re-install not too long ago (Like 6 weeks ago)

Thanks in advance.

P.S. After playing on the server with de_dust and then testing my level another box came up: The typical kind:

This may be of no use at all, but from my experience, you can somewhat isolate where the problem is based on the number in the error box. For instance, at one point, I made a map, and when I ran it in-game, it gave me and error with something like "00v0001"... It turned out that I forgot an info_player_deathmatch.

And so all I can say is that the lower or less complex the number, the earlier in the loading process it's occuring. This may narrow the number of errors you could have possibly made...

for one thing, take out those capital letters.

For another, i used to get that message before i got my new video card all the time... I doubt that can be your issue, though..

Lol, that's the same error I got when my memory was about to crash (I got it all the time, not just CSS).
I still get it, but very rarely.
It seems to happen when I try to load something big or complex, but I'm not sure, I mean I even get this error when I shut down IE sometimes

You got too big heapsize...

Go to Steam --> mygames --> cs:s properties --> launch options and delete the -heapsize if you got...

1mb of memory = 1023 heaps... :D

For example: I got 1536mb of ram, I want to use all of that in css so my heapsize is: 1571328

What is a "HeapSize"? HeapSize is the command what allowes "So much" memori to be used in the game..

Just type into launch options "-heapsize <and your number>"
REmember: 1023 = 1mb of memory :)

If it were the heapsize, wouldn't Habboi experience that error with all maps?

That particular error is fairly common: problem is, there's a lot of different solutions to it. I've noticed that I get it if there's a problem with a map I've compiled and I attempt to open it anyway.

Hit up Steam support and search for that error, there should be a guide of different solutions?
