didnt listen to your clip but it sounds like lagg to me ^^.
sometimes when i alt-tab out of a game with moderately high reqs the last sound being played repeats itself untill the desktop appears.

if the sound is set to loop with cue points, it will infinitely. If thats the case, remove the cue points. HL will do the looping for you.

EDIT: just checked you sounds out. There were no cue points so that wasn't the problem.
