Well I liked the idea. =]

Post up your photos. Be they holiday snaps from the summer, or experimental and artistic delights.

Annoyingly i dont have many of my photos on this computer yet. I'll get them tomorrow.

What can i say? The guy smoked and had an ear-plug. It seemed obvious what was required.

Unfortunately the larger version of this pic isn't on this computer. Oh well. Basically the most difficult thing was preventing the flash from completely zoning everything out, while still being bright enough for a motionless shot at that range.
User posted image
aww factor? no? oh well.. :P

In my defence, i was sober. no.. wait..

The guy in photo #2 has hope all over his face. Aw.

Anywho - here's some random pics taken at random places randomly. None of them were edited, they're taken straight from the cam.

Some of you've probably already seen these. There was a very early and heavy snowfall last November that covered everything with a thick layer of snow.

My sis and a bunch of swans. I was experimenting with the panoramic shot feature and got this. The swans in the background obiviously repeat and you can see the transitions between the shots. :P Still - I kinda like it.

They're all about the same quality. Your sister doesn't look so pleased about being included in that last shot, Daubster. :P

Anyway, I like this thread, but rather than having one for each month, come September someone should probably whack-up a 'Post your pics' thread that's continual, like the Now Playing one. I doubt they'd get that much activity monthly.

She was all lolwut? then. ;>
Nice for a cell phone.
Sony ericsson k800i can take some pretty decent photos for a cellphone. It's got almost every function a Sony powershot would have and a decent flash. It can take 2048x1472 shots, though pretty much all of em' come out really blurred. I guess cellcams are ok for tourist shots, etc., though none of em' are yet good enough to make a decent artistic photo. :(

RabidMonkey: Very nice photos, the EXIT sign in particular stands out to me.

I've pretty much been out taking photos from 10 in the morning to about 11 at night (quite a few breaks). I came away with about 200-300 photos (a lot of duplicates ;P), but these are my favourites.

Just looks like the flash catching the reflective sign to me. Flash shouldn't have even been necessary in that situation though.

Yes, it was taken in the Everglades. You know a place is truly untouched when there's no cell phone signal :P

Then why'd you sign up? My dad gets no Verizon signal at work, so he wants to switch to shudder T-Mobile. Then we'd get shitty signals everywhere else.

Nope, it was as real as can be.

I didn't use the flash in that picture, but the sun was already getting low. I guess it was the residual dusk light that made the sign reflective.
