Didn't you love Dungeon Keeper 2?

Just to know that you had the power of building, slapping, planning, torturing and training. I just installed it a week ago, i have played it a whole week. Just sitting in front of my computer and played. I even installed it on my LapTop and play at school.

This is entertaining as hell. Just loves it!

To the point. I started top throw ideas of making a new game based on DKII. New graphics, new rooms, new mob's etc...

For you who have played it. Do you think you should buy a game that was as the same idea's?

And for you who hasen't played it. Go play it.

I liked DKII. I finished it once, but never played it again after that.

But I liked DKI a LOT more, even though it didn't look as good and the multiplayer is buggy, it's still a much better game I think. I still play DKI fairly regularly.

If you like DKII, you'll probably like Evil Genius too. The premise of Evil Genius is a bit different, but it plays in a very similar way. Check it out. It's awesome.

Played Evil Genius also. I love these types of game's. I'm starting to read about making games.. i am seriosly going to make same type of game.

Anyone got any tips for how to start and where to start? ^^

Neither am i.. But i will be if i cant fine one ^^. I will do anything for this.

Well.... So.. Where to begin. I got loads of ideas, but i dont know anything how to make a game. Il just running and see how far i can go ^^.

Google is your friend. Also get some books on C++ and such. Its not really a one man job to create an entire game. If you do the whole thing on your own it will take several years.

I played it. Got bored when I couldn't finish it, so I cheated. Dunno where it is now, my brother's probably lost the disc.

There are some similarities, and if you like DK then chances are you'll like B&W too. But they're not the same game.

Im well known to be stubborn. ^^. Even if it would take years.. So. Then im up for it.
I got myself already 10 A4 of brainstorm. Starting to do some sketches... Some story.. Then i am starting to run ^^.

ah man, DK2 is superb. I have it on a magneto optical disk somewhere ^_^.

Evil Genius is great too, but it doesn't quite have the magic of DK2.

Unfortunately, Bullfrog, the creators of DK2 and other superb games like Theme Hospital got bought out by EA, so there's really no chance of DK3 ever being finished, despite it being started.

DK1 > DK2 !!!!
