I have some water in some really dark sewers, but for some reason I can't figure out, the water seems to be stuck in fullbright mode. Can anyone help me?

Well you most definetly have a Leak, You'll have to find it, Read the help file on How To Find Leaks in Worldcraft(Hammer)

There is no leak. Tha meap isn't fullbright, it's just the water. The sewers are dark except for the water.

That is cos HL doesn't have dynamic lightling. Textures will appeat like that unless you make them darker (or at least that is out of my xperience).

CHECK THE NAME OF THE TEXTURE....THEN IF YOU ARE COMPILING WITH THE HLZT LOOK IN THE HAMMER FOLDER FOR THE FILE LIGTHS.RAD...OPEN IT WITH THE NOTEBOOK AND SEARCH FOR THE NAME OF THE TEXTURE.... MAYBE YOU ARE USING A TEXTURE THAT HAVE AN OWN BRIGTH PROPERTY....

CHECK THIS....

This was a long thread on the VERC. It never got sorted. You'll probably just have to make the sewer itself lighter to fit in with the water.

Oh what I think I know the problem-- Try checking the properties

Theres a property Called

Minimal Light(or somethin')
Make sure thats at 0

(its the very last property for most)

There's no way around this provided as yet, from a large post on the VERC.
