It has to do with engine power in the sense that it can deliver a near optimal air-fuel ratio, and with this the engine will perform better. And as I said before, it also delivers faster response times that couldn't be achieved with carburetion. I don't know what you consider engine power to be, but it's just one thing in a long chain of devices that contribute to it. To say it has nothing to do with it is ridiculous.

Now srsly, european cars are the smart choice, if you need a car to cruise around in the city, without having a gas station strapped to your ass. But if I had to choose a sports car, I wouldn't go for a european (or asian). They're simply not as fun to drive.

What can be disabled? Obnoxious mufflers? They have nothing to do with fuel injection, and no they can't be disabled... short of removing them, which would be the best route to take anyway.

I personally like the Lamborgine SV, handles like crap but it's sleek and fast. I shall dream of having one for all eternity though
