It has to do with engine power in the sense that it can deliver a near optimal air-fuel ratio, and with this the engine will perform better. And as I said before, it also delivers faster response times that couldn't be achieved with carburetion. I don't know what you consider engine power to be, but it's just one thing in a long chain of devices that contribute to it. To say it has nothing to do with it is ridiculous.

Thanks.

Please someone tell me whats good in that soulless breeze of an engine-sound that european cars have. Thanks.

Now srsly, european cars are the smart choice, if you need a car to cruise around in the city, without having a gas station strapped to your ass. But if I had to choose a sports car, I wouldn't go for a european (or asian). They're simply not as fun to drive.

Well, for starters, don't get caught. Your brother obviously sucks ass at this. The other option would be to take it to the track or the drag strip.

They can also be disabled if i'm not mistaken.
Not completely, of course, but i know i've seen computers where you can change your EFI on the fly almost.

What can be disabled? Obnoxious mufflers? They have nothing to do with fuel injection, and no they can't be disabled... short of removing them, which would be the best route to take anyway. :)

Wow, it's amazing no-one started bitching about "gas guzzlers" by now.

Anywho - if I had the cash, my first car would definitely be a good old American Muscle one with the rust and worn off parts taken care of.

I want a bike.

People who like muscle cars are compensating. They're also quite uneconomical. Further, stop referring to cars as either being from Europe or America. Europe isn't a country and Ferrari isn't an European brand, it's Italian. Get my drift (pun!)?
Posted 16 years ago2007-12-19 16:26:20 UTC Post #241508
Why can't someone say a car is from Europe? If it is, then... it is.

That's a pretty largely used distinction between cars. European or American. Nothing wrong with that at all. I don't see how that is in any way suggesting Europe is a country. I mean, come on... you'd have to be retarded.

I drive a BMW. It's a European car.
Posted 16 years ago2007-12-19 16:32:54 UTC Post #241509
Be nice... = ) retarded is a mean word...

I want a bike but they're too dangerous and I'm a pussy.

I asked my friend Mark if Europe and is a country,
and he just confirmed "yes, Europe is a country
in the eastern hemisphere by the Russian one."
Settled.

Lots of things thought to be true really aren't.. Like
people who think Canada is a country when it clearly
is:

Well then, let's just go ahead and say anyone who drives a fast vehicle (including bikes) is compensating then, eh? Seems fair enough to me.
I drive a BMW. It's a European car.
You drive a German car. The way I see it, there's enough distinction between the cars built in different parts of Europe that they should be classified as such. But that's just me...and most people...and most of the automotive community.
Posted 16 years ago2007-12-19 21:04:57 UTC Post #241544
I do call it a German car in actual conversation, but I mean, who the fuck cares if someone calls it a "European" car?
Posted 16 years ago2007-12-19 23:17:05 UTC Post #241550
Why must every thing be flamed? It's only a European car because he resides across the lake. It's different enough to be not American, and not Japanese.

And srry, Please just shut the fuck up. Seriously.
Seems fair enough to me.
nobody cares.

To be honest, I didn't see any flaming at all until you just posted that.

Why must I impose my opinion on people? Are you serious? That's all anybody else is doing in this thread... hell, on this site. Practically on any internet forum at all. You're imposing your opinion on me when you say nobody cares. I don't tell you to shut the fuck up then, so why do you? If you don't agree with what I'm saying, state otherwise, and state YOUR opinion, but don't tell anybody to be quiet because you're feeling inferior or something. That's your problem, not mine.

I personally like the Lamborgine SV, handles like crap but it's sleek and fast. I shall dream of having one for all eternity though :P
My car is the absolute opposite of what a car is supposed to be which is quiet, powerful, good body, performance engine. Mine sounds like a truck, blows enouh smoke to kill pedestians, and acts like obese drunk going up any steep hill.
