Keep the truck. Everyone except the mods stop. -_-

It's only not funny when the newcomers 'anticipate' a truck and talk about it. After that they veer it off and go off topic. This has been happening more and more lately, but not from anyone that's been here for an extended period of time.

It's a twhl meme of sorts, I say keep it.

Newcomers: stop talking about the truck, for the sake of it's preservation.

I see, it is being mentioned more and more, no truck of fail. I think it's a bit of a problem and is sending threads off topic.

It's nothing more then a harmless, humerous way to close the threads. But if you don't find it funny, ignore it. A mention is fine, but a whole conversation going off topic isn't.

srry: you're hardly one to comment on what's good and what's bad for TWHL, you've brought your own share of newbie bashing and /b/ references here in the (recent) past.

Like it or not, things are changing for TWHL in preparation for TWHL3. Certain people aren't going to get away with the level of crap they use to. If we want this site to be respectable, we need to act respectable. That isn't to say we can't have fun, either.

This is the last I want to hear about the bloody truck of fail in this thread. halflife_genius made a good thread here, it's other people (not a picture) that went and ruined it.

my last map idea was one for counterstrike source. cs_foliage i believe i called it...
Basically it was a hostage rescue map at a shore. The map features a fjord, a long cave-like tunnel couple large rocks and a tribal village. T's start in this sort of tribal village/ rebel camp and cts start on the beach....
The leading idea for me was to have a relatively open map but with lots of undergrowth and bushes preventing you from seeing very far, i wanted gameplay to be more stealth based that running around aimlessly. Good stuff really.

i never completed it or got very far but somehow i feel like starting it again now..

Arcan; that sounds like a pretty nice map. I don't play CSS, or CS for that matter. But it still sounds nice.

Im thinking about creating a huge mall for BrainBread... Might pick up source mapping for when BB sources is out.
