nothing, just very plain imo. very... i dunno it seems utterly unassuming, almost to the point of transparency! Too clean I guess is what I'm trying to say... = )

You may be right Strider, but It doesn't make it any less fun creating them. = )
Here's what I got so far:
Downoload (contains favicons and instructions to make them the way I did)
These pretty much suck because I'm just getting started and don't really know what I'm doin... (notice the transparency flaws)
Anyway imo, a favicon that incorporated Elements of Half-life and Hammer would be ideal and if it could represent HL1 and HL2 as well, then even better. This is a tall order considering the space, but I'm curious to see what people come up with!

They look good, but it is pointless.
Lambda icon wins it because it stands for everything that is Half-Life.

Yeah, afraid im inclined to agree...
Lambda is by far the best, and it matches the new theme perfectly. Besides, I like it looking clean and plain, the ones you made are good, don't get me wrong, but they're a little messy in comparison to the site.
