We weren't going on your music taste, just what Urb said you wore and what made you 'awesome'. That whole post was sarcasm, anyways.

Anywho:

Beige-ish case with a window. Am gonna paint it black eventually.

The blue lights in my case are usually never on, but they look cool when they are.

An etching I did of the Spy from TF2. Looks cool but you can barely see it with the lights on. Oh well.

Oh, and in the last shot you can see the Construx I put in my case for a fan stand.

I never understood the concept of having a window in the side of your tower. Hell, the insides of my PC are not particularly attractive.

Its like having a transparent bonnet on your car. :P

I do like the whole blue-glow-in-the-dark thing but I just have led's in my USB cables.

Mine has blue lights on the front and side (as was noticeable in my pic). I also have a Chrome power supply and a very tidy inside of my case (not a lot of mess of wires or anything) so mine is pretty attractive to see inside of. =]

spy etching ftw.

and lol'd at trapt getting defensive.

saw, your rig is kind of like a chav who gets a skoda and attaches a huge spoiler, massive exhaust, alien lights on the underside and scoops the bonnet.

I like stylish cases, not bloated ones.

Yeah, I love Trapt's shoes. I've had quite a lot of shoes like that. Too bad they don't last very long. I had a pair of typical "flannel" pattern'd ones and a pair with skulls... Also the original black ones...

As for that whole Emo/scene-kid discussion, come on guys? What's the point? Atleast those guys don't try to look hardcore like the metalheads nowdays, and none of the succeed. No, not even you Hunter! :P

And I never understood the fancy thing about glowing windows on your PC. I've got a shiny DELL logo and a glowing on/off button!

Great choice of shoes, Trapt.
i agree with you Luke

I don't like emo kids because they wear clothing 5 sizes too small, listen to crap music, whine about everything, and all the ones i know go out of their way to make others lives just as emo.

Forgive me if that's heavily opinionated.

I mean. Life sucks. IMO, do something about it instead of collecting in groups and crying about it.
Anyway. I should be getting a digital camera soon, so i can have a better shot up of my desk areas.

Well, you're talking about actual EMO's and not the style of music/clothing.
You find those kinds of emos everywhere.

The emos that I know are laid back, outgoing and have interesting taste in music...

So let's just put it like this.
Bithing emos = FAIL. Style emos = OK?

So let's get back to the desks, this is offtopic. I'm sorry for contributing to the offtopic posting.

@Kristi N, oh, that's a classic layout right there :)

Luke plays Lego inside his tower >:3
Posted 16 years ago2008-03-06 12:48:49 UTC Post #247296
Yeah, but Lego rocks so it's cool! Anybody who says that we doesn't get the urge to play with it when he sees a good pile of Lego is a liar :P

Lulz, Microsoft mouse. Nearly as bad as Logitech.
I don't have batteries for my camera, but when I do, I'll post a picture.

Wow, did you just call Logitech mice bad? :\
Posted 16 years ago2008-03-06 22:59:37 UTC Post #247318
Yes.
All their mice are extremely clumsy and uncomfortable.
I would much rather have a 5 dollar noname mice than a new Logitech (if I couldn't sell it, of course).
They can't be compared with Razer mice.
Posted 16 years ago2008-03-06 23:03:39 UTC Post #247319
Sure they can.

I use a MX518 and it's comfortable. Works just fine too. I fail to see how in the hell a mouse gets 'clumsy' anyway?

And this isn't their "top of the line" mouse either.

Logitech "=" Razer. Both make good mice.

Logitech just so happens to make a lot of shitty mice too. Only the people that dont care enough to have good mice or schools are the only people that have these crap mouses.

And what object is in this picture to base your size comparison on?

Any small object is huge with a huge picture.

Strider said it too, this mouse is awesome.

I also have that mouse, and it's very comfortable, no matter how it looks in some picture with no background and nothing to compare it to. It sounds to me like you haven't actually used one of these mice, or if you did it was only for a couple minutes, and you simply thought it felt too different from most regular mice. or you have teh midget hands. :cyclops:

You want a big Logitech mouse though, just look at the MX Revolution. But not even that is uncomfortable.

I need to have a large desk with lots of surface area.

I have that logitech mouse too.

I'd say it's the best mouse i've ever owned.

Laser > Optical (although i miss the red glow xD)
And it's very comfortable..

Sweet! I have the exact same keyboard as Hunter.
A also have the same keyboard as Satchmo.
Both my keyboard, mouse and headphones are Logitech. Unfortunately my headphones snapped after 2 weeks.

And @Tetsuo: Life only sucks as much as you make it. Emo's make their own lives suck, and then go blame everyone else for making it suck.

I'm ok with my Basic Optical Mouse from Microsoft since 4-5 years...
Posted 16 years ago2008-03-07 12:18:10 UTC Post #247338
Yeah, I have a optical Microsoft mouse, so far it's been with me for four years, it's still going strong and it's awesome. I've also got a wireless Logitech which I'm having no problems with.

Laser mouse? I reeeeeeally don't see the point. Some people say it's better for precition and speed, but if your monitor ain't 1 X 1 kilometers big I really don't see the point! :P
Posted 16 years ago2008-03-07 14:06:26 UTC Post #247339
I also had a microsoft mouse just like that one, for like 3 months. After three months I've smashed the fuck out of it, because the cursor often jumped around on it's own. It was especially irritating while playing games. My roommate had one these mice, and he had the same problem aswell. They sucked.

The difference between laser and optical is hardly noticeable. Different levels of DPI on a mouse are hardly noticeable either.

I have a cheap MX510 Optical with a Steelpad, best mouse I've ever had. Solid, precise, durable, cheap.
Posted 16 years ago2008-03-07 14:31:54 UTC Post #247341
Now I understand why my mouse doesn't have a light, it's laser

Is it better or worse than an optical?

Same issue here... The only thing I hate about this mouse... But exept that, I like it.

Supposed to be better, but hardly much difference. The worse mice are ball mice...eek, bad memories. Apparently expensive ball-mice are the most accurate you can get.
Posted 16 years ago2008-03-07 17:49:11 UTC Post #247351
Ball-mice suck because of cheap quality getting fucked up with a little bit of dust. That's why laser is FTW.

Yeah laser is nice and smooth. Had a ball mouse for 3-4 years and every once in a while I'd have to pick at the insides with my nails to get that weird dust shit that somehow claws its way inside.

Had laser for 6 months so far. Very nice so far and no dirt picking! Plus you can blind friends :>

Blinding your friends with a laser mouse would be pretty tricky considering they don't have a light visible to the human eye. If your laser mouse has a light, it's not a laser mouse - It's an optical mouse.
