you know, the guy who started this topic was probably expecting a big flame war, wich is the reason he started this topic, saying a lot of peoples mods ideas were dumb, which would start a flame war for sure.

I've always been unable to like WW2 or Vietnam games. I find it sick that people take enjoyment from playing games based on real wars, where real people died.

But on the topic at hand, I don't agree with the idea of an actual 'school shooting mod', but it seems to me that alex_m99 wants to make a huge deathmatch arena based on his school where the students have a similar role to the citizens in HL2, and the teachers having a similar role to the Metro Cops, just to add realism and ambience.
It looks like he's tried to correct the mistake of how he originally worded the idea, but nobody seems to be listening to him, and flaming him for the idea of psychotically running around with the sole intention of killing everyone.

People in Australia don't carry guns. People in Australia don't go and shoot down 30 people in their school twice a year. The reality is that the only people who are going to know that they're playing in that specific school are the people who actually go there, and a school shooting will never occur because of this.
