Notice how these "West African" jerk-wads use a French Yahoo (yahoo.fr) email account to send this bullshit, not to mention it's also all in capital letters. It's a classic "Nigerian Advance Fee Scheme", also known internationally as "4-1-9". Heck, even the NBC TV show Nightline had a few reports done on these guys and their tactics.

EDIT: Here's more info on this type of scam: http://www.scambusters.org/NigerianFee.html

EDIT CORRECTION: Ooops, I goofed up on names here. Nightline is not on NBC, it's on CBS. The TV program that I meant was NBC's "Dateline". Now, both TV shows have coverd this story, but Dateline has done it more times.

You know, it just occurred to me that for who ever sent those scam PM's to our TWHL inboxes, needed to sign up on TWHL to do so. Now, if any of the admin people here in TWHL can some how track from which TWHL membership these scam messages were sent from, well, a good'ol banning should be slapped to these scammers ASAP.

I suppose I can view these scam offers as free comedy, because that's what they are, funny to read. I just can't see myself falling for this.

Every time I see things like this I wonder if the original creator just made a program with a set list of words that are spat out randomly onto the page. Its like they want them to be completely incoherent.
