Hiya

Just a little note to say I've just finished setting up the Mappers' DataBase. The aim of the database is to gather all ressources available on different games to help other map makers. This database will host prefabs, textures, shaders, models... We've almost got 100 items in the database (mainly wolfenstien enemy territory maps / prefabs at the moment and a few for Soldier of Fortune 2) and would like all mappers willing to share their work to do so.

The Mapper's Database is available here :

Thanks for your contribution

Striker, can you even read?

Anyway.

You're looking for maps, models, textures, prefabs... Anything really?
I'll be willing to share some of my completed work; what little there is.

Hiya

Sorry, I maybe wasn't clear in my first explanation and the database didn't have the Half Life game created yet :) It's now there and ready to receive stuff \o/
The idea of the Mappers' Database is to group ressources for map makers to host them all in a unique database. It avoids going through loads of web sites to find individual mapper creations.
I have a question though : are HL1 & HL2 maps the same format? Should I have 2 different game entries for this ?

Thanks for your help & time !

Yes, you should definitely have two different game entries.
They both use the .bsp file name extension but that's all. You can't play a Half-Life map in Half-Life 2 and you can't play a Half-Life 2 map in Half-Life.
