A largemouth bass im making in blender. This is my third model in blender. Im going to make it swim and open its mouth to eat stuff and try to put it in a map.

Impressive. I take it that the model is not done yet since it still looks a bit blocky. I know for a fact Blender can produce hyper realistic smooth models. Of course, since you said you are going to try to put it on a map, keeping low poly would be the normal thing to do here, the way you have it now. By the way, where did you get the fish texture from? It looks pretty good. If I were you, I would try to sell the model on Turbosquid.com later on and make some money out of it, good game ready fish models are somewhat hard to come by.

The texture actually isn't that good, its just some side shot of a bass identification. Ill probably take a pic of one I catch and retexture it. Ill post another pic once I get more detail but yea I am keeping it kinda low polly for games.

True,.....but to a certain extent. If the texture came from a picture or texture bank with a user agreement that states "royalty free", you can do what ever you want with it, as long as it does not specifically excludes selling it. And if it does not, then you can sell it then. Now, I suppose for one to be on the safe side, it would be better to come up with your own custom graphics, that way you can rest easy knowing that if you do sell it, no body can bitch to you about not getting their cut.
