Well I'm making a map and I at some point I received te MAX_MAP_MIPTEX . The map is medium-sized yet and the -texdata parameter was set at the beginning to 10000.
At some point the error showed up. I found at last what was the thing that caused the error, because I tried even -texdata 50000 .

The fault is shared by these 2 textures :

I used them as a func_conveyor to recreate the lighting stuff like in NS.
Removed them= problem resolved.
But I have to use them, how can I resolve this problem?
[EDIT] I forgot to say they're both 256x256 px.

Wut?

You really don't need that much texdata. 8192 is more than enough.

Try making them smaller, like 128 px.

I usually put 10000(10 mb). Oh nobody uses a Pentium2 to play hl anymore lol(even I have an old Pentium2 and the video card is 16 MB)
Now can somebody help me with my issue? Please :)

Yep, thanks that resolved the problem but why it isn't allowed with big scroll textures ?
