I haven't mapped for HL1 for so long, and when I am migrating my old HL1 maps to my new rig this morning, I cannot remember which folder to put the BSP in.

I have the Steam version of HL1. Thanks.

For HL singleplayer or HLDM, move the bsp files to:
valve/maps.

For CS maps:
cstrike/maps

For DOD:
dod/maps

etc.

I don't yet have the "maps" folder under the valve directory, so I guess I'll have to create one?

This is different from HL2 and CSS, because there's already a folder created for me.

yup create one.

as well models, sprites, sound folders, etc. (copy models and sprites from the gcf to the respective folders so you can see them in hammer 3.5)

In the maps/graphs folder.

Thanks. The nod file was automatically regenerated again when I loaded up the map.
