Video Editing Tips
My last videoclip with gta4 was a fail among TWHL users. I need some help, I'm working at another one. Maybe some of the experienced ones from here can help me.
Can you give me some tips on video editing ? I'm using sony vegas. Thank you.

Just make it look professional. Use more than one clip, and decent transitions between them. None of this clip-instant black-instant clip crap.
(no offense)

When I did that I actually avoided using transitions, because I wanted to "feel" the music rhythm.
Do you know a site or something were can I get movie sounds ? For example I want that "noise" quick transition sound.

Has a load of crap and you'll find yourself looking for a while but you do find some nice gems.

One time I swear I found a sound of a guy undoing a zip and moaning rather sexually. Yeah...MrrRRRRhhhhhMMMFFFF

I used a lot of that quick "noise" transition effect . I'm at minute 2 already, and I didn't used again a single music track. I used about 6 until now. I hope it will be a little bit funnier :crowbar:
I also didn't used black screen :D

It's finished ! It's 3:59 without the credits and has a total of 8,557 frames in raw format. But I have to convert it so it will drop some of these frames. I'll post it in my journal. I hope it a little bit better than the other one ( geez I had to credit a lot of guys for some sound effects ..>)

Windows Movie Maker comes with a lot of simple transitions. Those are the kind I'm talking about. Or have just an instant switch.

It's not for professionals, I agree with you there, but for the basics, It can be substantial if you have a tight budget.

Or if you can't be arsed warezing a real video editor. Seriously, those things have annoying DRM, especially Adobe products!
