If you port that fighter into Source (Ep2) you can add all kinds of thruster entities to it to make it fly. Somewhat.LOL really? have to check that out eventually. you could do it with spirit too?
@tetsu0: that looks really cool. I wish i would have designed something original too, but i always wanted to build that jedi ship.. = )

I scrapped that idea and came up with something while doodling in calculus. Lemme post a picture of my ideas..
EDIT----
here's my blueprint/sketch
If you couldn't tell, it's a giant flying space turtle complete with glass shell. The hands and mouth hold a large armament consisting of 3 giant lasers and multiple Gatling guns, and the tail and feet are the thrusters!

Lol according to your scale, the ship would be 2,816 units long. Thats almost half the mapping void in distance! That would be a sight..

I did some sketching too, not going to post it tho. I designed a basic ship and then stuck a tentacle-y alien ship on the back of it humping the shit out of the engines.
Mission will be like welding shut a lot of the puncture holes that skulks are crawling through and keeping the ship intact while defending.

Alright I just mapped out a basic stencil for my ship..

The wings will be rounded off and smoothened. The windshield will be much more detailed. Im not sure if the player will fit inside it but you most likely will and the windshield will open in a unique way. This is only a stencil. I originally named the ship the "raptor" but decided that the name would be more suitable for a more straight and sharp edged ship. This ship is called the hextactor. This is all im going to map for right now because I have a trig test tom and stuff to get done before spring break but I hope to put some hours into it sometime soon..

School has been breaking my stones for the last few weeks.. i have not been able to put a serious effort into any maps lately. I might make another quick little ship. In-fact. I'll start one right now. From scratch.

That would be cool to put all of our ships in the same map next to eachother like in the same garage or something. That would be a fun way to judge, that is if they will all fit in the same map.
