Anyone have any comments about having dual Geforce 9600GT's. I've heard some mixed feedback about them, and there already purchased.

Got 2 for only $197, figured I couldn't go wrong.

Btw whats your pc specs, I'm currently building one so, ya.. so far this is what I got:

Windows XP 64-bit
6GB Dominator ram and cooling fan
2 x Geforce 9600GT's

I have a 9600 GT my self, and I can play TF2 at full, 4x AA / 2x AS with about 30 FPS in a 30 man server. (Mind you I'm still on a P4)

SLI 9600's in source games don't create a huge difference, as I've seen in reviews. However in other games, FPS's nearly double.

I'm a generation behind. I have an 8600, but mine is a GTS mind you. Comparatively, they're the same card, each with some things slightly better than the other card.

3.0 GHz Pentium D (gag) Dual-Core CPU
4 GB DDR2 RAM (i forgot what kind it was tbh)

nice though..
I have another question:

Is it possible to run two Video Cards that have SLI, not in SLI.

I've heard that If you have two videocards running in SLI mode, than you can only run 1 monitor at a time. Im trying to run Two 22inch Monitors, as well as have the performance of two video cards..

So, is there a way to disabe SLI, but still have the performance of two Video Cards?

"...NVIDIA has implemented dual monitor support for SLI systems with the introduction of the 180 driver set, so looking into that may be worth your while."

Pulled this quote from another forum.
