someone know an easy fix to this?

i thought i had measured this up correctly, but when the map starts, instead of in the first stop target like it should be the tracktrain (shaped as a bee) ends up randomly somewhere at the top of the map moving in spuradic fashion

i have the latest compile hosted at megaupload.. in.. THIS LINK
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=891ZQ0QO

in the .rmf the func_tracktrain is just above the giant pink flower looking extrusion.. it's kind of covered up by a trigger_push near it though, jest feel around, you'll find it easily

and thanx in advanced

I was just going to assume this but I dl it anyway. The bee doesn't have an origin. HAHA I got to see your bee fly around before you. Really weird map man..

oh wow really?! it works!?! thats friggin awesome!

hey, while i have your attention.. can you explain exactly how you made the bee work correctly

also, maybe explain to me what the deal is with the func_rotating at the top of the map.. i cant seem to get it to start.. can i have it start on without having to be triggered?

Add a small brush with the origin texture to your bee at the centre.
Try triggering the func_rotating, and make sure it has an origin as well.

Yea create a square brush textured origin and place it in the middle of your bee. Click on it and the bee and say to entity and yes to add it to the existing entity. The func_rotating rotation speed is set to zero. Give it a value. Both of these problems are explained in twhl's tutorials you should read through most of them.

Anything that rotates or follows a track and is brush based MUST HAVE AN ORIGIN! :ninja:
