My camera is so old. It has a tendency to overexpose things.
Also taking a photo without a tripod is hard as hell.
Posted 15 years ago2009-12-15 21:15:18 UTC Post #276638
It doesn't have a manual mode where you can adjust the exposure?
Posted 15 years ago2009-12-21 00:34:51 UTC Post #276812
As far as I know you can't. It's an old Finepix 2650, a very generic camera.

I should have posted this here to begin with, but I made some stupid journal about it instead.

Forgive the blatant shoopiness of it all, it's unavoidable if you're trying to make a seamless photo like this.

Saw: It's a guy taking water supplies to the tourists in the middle :P

I'm looking forward to the acquisition of a new camera. I'm also looking forward to the moment I save up enough cash to acquire a new camera. Which might not happen any time soon, considering I'm out of a regular and well-paid job.

My grandparents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary by taking a cruise ship to Brazil. They left this afternoon.

The terminal was so far away from the ship that I couldn't see it. There was a small windows on the first floor next to some offices, but this is pretty much all I could see:

I like this one. Unfortunately I couldn't take their picture waving from aboard like in Titanic, it seems security and bureaucracy have been increased sometime in the past 100 years :P

So we just left.

You're wasting perfectly good oxygen there.

Please, think of the oxygen deprived children!

Ok, my mistake. I named this "hydrogen making" because it's what can bee seen in the image. I was actually putting up hydrogen in the atmosphere and captivating oxygen in that jar.

Thanks Stu, it had the potential to be better though, but I was lazy and didn't want to set my tripod up in the middle of the communal driveway at night. It's a bit blurry.

And yeah, Luke, he is. He really is. He lays like that about half the time.

On set for the final scene of 'The Sims Virus,' a short film in which EA try to take over the world by using the term "Viral Marketing" far too literally.
Sorry for the quality. Screengrabs from compressed video during editing. Final render will be HD.
