Iv recently purchased a new laptop that runs windows 7 ultimate 32bit, but when i install half-life i can not hear any sound, also when i quit it freezes in the splash screen. Iv tried updating drivers reinstalling half-life but nothing has worked.

Don't use laptops for gaming.
