Hi all, shameful to say I missed out on the latest contest - that'll teach me for not visiting TWHL enough (crappy school revision - crappy GCSEs).

So my question is, probably to atom, what and when is the next planned contest? Cos I'd love to enter the next one - I might even enter this one - but I gotta submit it today! lol - oh yeah '0' days to do a compo - would be a laugh - even if totally outrageous! ROCK ON!

Guys - this is nice an all - but wasn't the point of the post - thanks kol for the sensible (not) answer - which deserves the phrase "No sh** sher...", so anyone know when the next compo's gonna be? and what subject? Cos I'd really like to enter - oh, and BTW, I think Andy's more incharge that 7th - cos 7th didn't know that you guys even thought he was - he is a moderator though - lol.

The next compo.
Here is what has to happen first.
I have to judge the entries. (Tonight)
I send the results to Atom with the next Compo Outline.
If I get the results to him tonight, then there is a good chance that he will have something up in a couple of weeks.

I don't have access to the Compo page.

While we are on the subject:
Did I make it perfectly clear that the upload must work... Or was I imagining that???
I understand that this server has a few problems with uploads, So I can accept a corrupt zip...
But what I can't accept is someone not taking the time to test their entry and make sure it works...
Not going to waste time anymore chasing an author who couldn't be bothered to test their own map.

Also:
If you are uploading a mini mod, do not include the config.cfg, voiceban_dt or Save file.
SlayerA told me this ages ago, and it was good advice.

i just made a suggestion for a new competition, dont know if it will go anywere but its worth a try, i think im going to actally enter the next one providing its not completeley boaring like that last one. although i really would have loved to have been around to have entered the map a movie contest. heyho never mind.

If I remember correctly the characters in the book are:

Wally - The guy you gotta find
Wizard Whiteboard - The old wizard dude
Wanda - Wally's friend/girlfriend/life long partner
The dog - All you see is the tail
Outlaw - Evil Wally clone
