Anybody uses this mobile phone provider?

$45 unlimited everything sounds too good to be true, so i'm wondering what the catch is... I'm really tempted to change over cuz that is amazinly cheap :o

(i'm already out of contract with verizon, and i was told i can <maybe> use my existing phone with the service, so this is so tempting..)

after all the taxes, about $60, and that is with only 700 voice minnutes, and unlimited data. (if i wanted unlimited talktime, it would be $20/month extra =?

What you paying for unlimited voice/data?

Ive got a simple plan (not a heavy phone user) its about 8$ monthly including some calls.
Got a unlimited 3G for my laptop and that is 2$ monthly.
And 4G network has been around for a year or so now and spreading quickly.

God damn America is expensive.
Too fuckin true, man. In my old hometown property taxes tripled in the last five years.

Although everywhere has something that's too expensive. The Aussies gotta pay an arm for a game and a leg for the connection to play it, and I've heard terrible terrible things about gas prices in Europe.

Oh yeah gas prices, everyone is talking about how they are high, but noone gives a ** and drives the same way they did 10 years ago.

Yup. Over here you don't have much choice because everything's so spread out, walking and even biking to places like work, the store, etc. just isn't even an option.

That's what we get for building a country that takes up half of a continent I suppose.

Holy shit! And I was thinking paying 5 euros/month for my ~2000 in-network minutes, ~60 national and international and 150 mb is too much!

Well, although my country has cheap services, products are expensive(24% VAT). And the gasoline is... I mean, I put just 2 liters in my car when I have to drive it a few kilometers just to be sure I won't consume more than that!

I'm pretty sure if nobody gives a shit then everybody wouldn't be talking about how high the prices are.

For all we know, people have been complaining about rising gas prices since gas was first sold. The price of damn near everything goes up slowly from the minute it's invented it seems.

You can't say that for solar panels.

Or computers.

I pay 15 bucks a month for my Net10 plan. They give me... I wanna say... 200 minutes a month for that price. It's just talk+text though, no data. I love it, since I basically never use my phone, and texting does not interest me. It's just a regular old flip phone, cost me about 20 bucks outright and I'm not locked into a plan.

I've never had the inclination to use the internet on-the-go. If I want to do that, I can just sit down at my desktop.
