I abide by Occam's razor.Which is just another human rule. I believe in fairness. Eclecticism.
You speak as though you undoubtedly know truths.Zeeba-G, I learned that you can't tell this to a person who acts like that. Although they don't realize, they put quite a bit of emotion in what they say.
Don't you fucking dare tell me that I need to be open-minded.Quote of the year right here, ladies.
But science breaks down when it tries to understand HOW we do maths in our head,Science doesn't break down, it just hasn't covered it yet. We only quite recently started understanding how the mind works, and we are making good progress. And also, just because science can't explain it (for now or never) then that doesn't mean that you can fill in the blanks with whatever you want.

But science breaks down when it tries to understand HOW we do maths in our head, because that part of the science that tries to do that is just another human tool that is poorly developed at the moment. You just said what I said :P.
and then what?I believe science is a lot about the chase, and I also believe that we will never hear the end of it. There will always be a chase, and the knowledge we gather gives us the ability to do great things, like going to the moon! I'm fine with you thinking that the world is dull without spirituality, but for me all I need is the beauty of science, and the universe. It surprises me enough every day to want me to keep staying alive.
