Any ninjas out there that could help with my question?

We have been working long and hard and have come so far with our new HL1 mod project (will post details later next week).

Right now we are trying to get a great NPC model rigged with player animations for our multiplayer.

My question is: when converting npc models into player models, how do i import a standard hl skeleton into the npc model so that the animations will compile properly? and is there a way to dump the studiomdl compiler errors to a notepad .txt file? because currently im not sure what the illegal error is

if you run studiomdl through the command prompt it shouldn't automatically close out on you - allowing you to mark the text and copy it.

has anyone imported HL1 player animations into HD models?
