So, what did everyone get for Christmas?

I got a new telescope, as well as a jumper and a battery powered hot water bottle.
I'm actually going to go outside in a few minutes to see if I can view a pass of the ISS. Miraculously, the skies seem to actually be clear, which is unusual enough for this country, even discounting the fact that the weather for the last week has been miserable.

It is a Newtonian reflector telescope, with a 130mm aperture. Seen here with the non branded refractor telescope that I got for Christmas around 10-15 years ago. That one has a 30mm aperture, with some kind of insert behind the objective lens that limits it to around 15mm, so the difference between the two should be very noticeable.

I got one of those portable USB batteries for charging your cellphone, a t-shirt, and what's possibly the most horrible underwear in the world. Too lazy to take pictures now, though.

Your chairs are overturned.

I got a drill press and some tools. Also got some money which will most likely buy more tools... :)

I got colored pencils, construction paper, Ukulele lessons, razors, floss, and animal stickers. I know that doesn't sound like much but I love derpy stuff so I had a pretty awesome Christmas.

Not related to Christmas, the legal mitigation from the accident I had at work is settled. The lawyer is working to get me a bit of money which is nice.

Clothes, stuff, and a remote control helicopter (not one of those dinky little 2-3 inch tall ones, this one is around a foot tall).
I've also got a second monitor on hold, as I want to make sure this computer can actually HAVE a second monitor before she goes and buys one.
I think one of my internet buddies is getting me DayZ standalone, too.
