Does anyone here use Gamespy Arcade to play games? My name is [CC]VOX and I play Total Annihilation, Half-Life, Tribes 2, BF1942, and TA Kingdoms. If you play tell me what your name is and what game you play. Thanks

I hate gamespy.

It takes like forever to find a game, and then to start the actual game - sheesh.

I tried Gamespy once, got banned for flaming someone really bad, and posting pr0n, cough.

Gamespy rocks | but i can't play Total A, don't know why... maybe becouse of proxy? anyway other games rocks there! i also play Warlords Battlecry, Unreal Tournament, Half-Life (but more Op4 on steam), Soldier Of Fortune (a nice game), operation flashpoint, stronghold: crusaders, Star Trek Armada 2(lol it is playable), Baldurs gate 2 and BG2:Throone of Bhaal, and if there is anyone in the room i play Populous3:the beggining and Metal Fatigue. Had more games avaible on GS arcade but i don't play other for now, only these few.

Gamespy Arcade... Isn't it that crappy spyware filled game server browser (IMO!!!)? Whatever, pr0s use The All Seeying Eye :]

i think that Spyware Arcade is better anyway, and only there i had average 174 kb/sec, when downloading hl patch 
Oh and my connection speed is 100 kb/sec! 24 kb/sec when downloading (witch accelerator or witchout it) is strange !!!

I'm not l33t enough to use GameSpy! No, actually, it takes around an hour to detect server settings or whatever when it starts up. I just use the browser in Cstrike/HL/OpFor/whatever. Works fine.

lol it takes around an hour!!! not true, it takes around 1-5 second to detect all servers! On Cstrike i waited to refresh half an hour, and than (after that time) many of them were not online or changed maps. Only Steam is faster than GameSpy Arcade!
