HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!

My resolution is to organize my creative life so everything I'm involved with gets a fair share of attention. My new smart phone definitely helps me keep track of all that so productivity is pretty high. I also want to visit me homelands in the spring and see me Mor and Far. ^_^

It's about 7pm here so US East hasn't gotten to 2015 quite yet.

Happy new year everyone! My new year's resolution is 1920x1080, haha!
But besides that this year I want yo eat healthier, do more sports, master a programming language and increase my social networking skills.

I don't make resolutions because then it's automatic I won't do them.. So, my attainable anti-resolutions are:

• Learn Blender.

I imagine my new year is going to be pretty uneventful in regards to jobs and stuff. I mean, I should hope at some point this year I will get a job, otherwise I'll be bored out my tiny little mind.
My main focus though will be working on my female identity, now that I've started to pursue it. (Have I mentioned I'm transgender?... Oh well, I'm mentioning that now.)
Other 'n that, I might try to hone my artistic skills a little this year: drawing, SFMing... I'd like to give papier-mâché a go too, I've a project in mind that it would be perfect for I still want to make some MH3U armours, too, but I may not get around to that this year.

Kudos to you, Jessie! I wish you the very best with your journey (I know, albeit anecdotally, that it can be a tough road) and hope that you are well aware that TWHL is a place that you are free to be entirely comfortable in.

Pretty extreme measure to go to just to increase the number of female members on TWHL, Jessie, but we sure do appreciate it!

And all the best to everyone for 2015! My resolution falls pretty close to CapT's wherein I intend to get proficient at 3DS Max. I feel like it'd be the next big step up for my career in VFX. Whilst Maya and C4D are perhaps the more standard options for TV and Film, I want to choose the platform I can continue my love of game development on as well as using it for TV work.

Our first real, is-girl female member, hooray for Jessie!

@Ant: It's still early days yet, and as such I've not yet been open enough to encounter a place where I don't have that freedom. But I suppose in time, I will, and I'll appreciate this place that little bit more.
@Stojke: I've already said, quite recently, that computer hardware is slightly further above my head than Voyager 1

Congratulations Jessie. I would imagine saying that publicly would take a lot of courage.

And Archie, if the option is open to you, why not try learning how to use more than one? I don't know how things work in your field, but if you're expected to use stuff supplied by the employer it might be a plus.

Plus I would imagine once you've learned one, it would be easier to learn a second.
