Hi people, how is everyone doing? I used to frequent this place but I don't think I've been here properly for at least two years or more. Basically I'm in my final year of a Games Design BSc course (Uni), and what free time I get I tend to spend doing other things, I still create levels, but only for CS:GO.

Unfortunately I'm not really interested in this community any more, I'm applying for industry jobs and what little free time I had now I'll have even less of in the future. But I thought it would be nice to say bye to everyone.

May I ask how on earth you are in the final year of your course and you're only 20?
Jeez i'm only in second year of uni and almost 20 now, not even halfway through my course.

Thanks guys! Instant Mix I started a 3 year course at 18 I'll still be 20 when I get my degree.

Been a while since I've seen you around. Guess it's going to be a while till I see you again. Hopefully you'll drop in for a post or two sometime in the future though. Lots of people have said they're quitting TWHL only to come back later. ^_^

Getting into video gaming industry, leaves gaming website. Way to network Skals. Seriously though, now I feel bad that I never reviewed de_revolution, will kick my self in the a** to do it some time soon.

Also, some of us have recently successfully worked on a group project. Maybe you could chime into these projects for some experience with what time you do have.

In terms of indie projects I have a few things lining up, a friend is opening a company for small android/ Iphone games and a few others are already working on their own little projects. I'm not working on anything personal besides a CS:GO map as of yet, but I will in roughly two months when I finish my course.

I'm also applying for jobs at games companies so if I get one of those I might not have time for Indies, or very little.
