Your Task
You have 31 days to come up with set of 5 or more, props / prefabs based around the theme of 'A Zombie Apocalypse' and upload it to the contest category.

Prizes
1st Place: $100 + a Valve L4D T-shirt
2nd Place: $50 + a Valve L4D T-shirt
3rd Place: $25 + a Valve L4D T-shirt

Plus all entrants will receive a special profile medal!

Check out the full brief and sign-up list at GameBanana!

I feel like this is a REALLY fun idea for a props/prefabs contest, and hope to have the time myself to submit some beautiful, barbed-wire-bespackled prefabs for it!

Indeed!

I like the fact that you don't have to make an entire map, yet there are still substantial prizes as if it were a mapping competition. you could build your entry start to finish over a weekend if you wanted

Also too it's important to mention: you may build your content for ANY PC GAME, not just the L4D series and such. I'll be entering prefabs for the GS engine if I can find the spare time :)

Not interested in this competition? Check this list for more contests going on concurrently at the Banana!

Uh, oh zambeeees. Really tempted right now, wonder if i can cook something up in UE, since i've been dabbling in it non-stop again.

And speaking of UE4, it recently went free (from sub 19$/month). I def. recommend trying it out!

Worked up some quick sketches for this, hope to have some mapping screens to show later this evening. I might actually find the courage to open up blender for this one as well...
