I have a door. The door opens fine if you look at it one way, but if you go through and look at the other side, the door's handle is right next to it's hinges! How do I flip the texture on the weird side without making it look upside down?

Submit a problem map, it;s so much easier to fix these problems.

or you can just set the texture scale to a negative number ....

I never knew you could do that, really?

That doesn't work. It does the same thing as rotating it 180 degrees. The handle is in the right place but it is upside down. I just figured out what to do. You have to check the box "Align to world."

Placing a negative value in the x scale box produces a mirror image, not a 180 degree flipped image. Then you just have to center the texture and it looks fine. Align-to-world only works some of the time. But if it worked in this case, that's all you needed.

Oh now I get it. Just the x property. I was doing both x and y.
