Hey all,

2 questions

1) How do you get a text message to script out upon entering a map?

Example:
Map Name
    by
 Dizzy Devil
Next text
Special Thanx
       to
    NAME
    NAME
      etc.
2) How to you link a sound upon entering the map and/or respawning?

BTW thanx :D Zombie :D for all the tips I have not looked at the tutorial map but I will shortly.

1) Trigger a game_text for text. However, don't have too many, 'cos there seems to be some sort of limit which crashes your map when you trigger the g_t after the limit. Use env_message for basic messages. Game_text is more versatile though.

np dizzy, i was bored anyway ;)

but for the sounds, i got real problems with ambient_generics so ask some1 else, mine just turns up... not sounding
if you DO get one to work put "play everywhere" on and make a trigger_auto target it.
i think...

or, for multiplayer maps, just make a file called mapname.txt and stick it in yer Maps dir

I'll let you know if anything works. I had also emailed another mapper, If he can answer my question, I will surely post it in here. "And don't call me Shirley"
