I noticed on the vocab section each term has it's own webpage. Maybe instead it could have a pop-up window or alt text or something. Or maybe all on one page with anchors at the top to each word. That way it doesn't add a lot of pages to your history and back/foward buttons and I would think it would be easier to manage on the server.

If you're speaking about the Glossary, it's easier to have them on their own pages due to compatability issues, I suppose. Ie, one browser not supporting the popup window script.

Oooohhhh, gotcha. ;) I was thinking about how macs don't support alt text too. Reason #89723495734957 why I personaly like windows better than Macintosh. No offense if you like macs, just as long as you have some good reasons, such as maybe you think they are better for art or whatever.

They're excellent for Digital Video editing but are falling short on the game development community. That's why I switched over not too long ago. I think it's easier to manage this way, and the pages can be expanded upon if there is lots of information, screens, etc, which would not fit in a popup window or text.

Digital video editing is the only thing they can do, yet they still stuff up. Convenience to the max!
At school, I use a few macs to make videos of various occasions, etc. The school bought us this brand spanking new eMac to use as well as our other two. This particular mac came bundled with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. So I load it up eager to jump in and what do I find? Shoddy performance and a slow frame rate, even on the lowest settings! Isn't the whole point of having a game preinstalled on a machine is to demonstrate its power?

lol I dislike them as well. I am forced to use them in school. I am getting my own however. With my own money, though! Gonna get one cheap. Most likely a used one then beaf it up with XP or maybe Longhorn (next Windows version), 512 mb of Ram, cd-rw/dvd combo drive. yeaaah...

Get a nice graphics card, if you can get one with 512 or 256mb Vram you'll be able to run HL2 really nicely.

I've heard enough crap about Longhorn to make sure I don't get it in any way, shape or form.

Well I think it's gonna be released sometime next year... unless an unfortunate air raid demolishes the Microsoft headquarters.... vanishes suddenly
