This is my idea: the player has to get out from an exploding 'compound'. They to keep running or else a triggger_hurt will catch up with you (killing the player). Is it possible to make a trigger_hurt move, or follow you? I was also wondering if this would work with other entities eg. lights, sounds, sprites.

I seem to remember there was one point on HL when you are in a pipe and a Grunt chucks in a satchel, and it explodes, sending a flame down the tube - so it must be able to be done. I have checked most of the tuts on this site and have experimented myself but I cant seem to get it right.

Any help would be appreciated :)

you could try to make a multi_manager and manny smaller trigger_hurt
and trigger the hurts to activate after eachoter...
if you get what i mean...?

Or use spirit and make a non solid invisible func_train and set the trigger hurt to move with it.

ore make a func_train non-solid and set damage to 1000. when it hits the player hes dead.

But then it does train damage, and not fire damage.

Thanks for your help. Soon after I posted this I realised that I could do what Howdy said and use smaller trig_hurts in succsession and activate them ,say, every second
