"What age are you thread" continue it hereMac is good for photo editing and word prossesing but for games its worth s#!T.

windows is good dosn't crash for me. If you want a stable windows, lookup lindows, I have never looked at it but I heard it was real stable.

I have windows xp... I know macs very good and can tell they're shitty! many crashes, not compatible with anything... and thouse mac-mouses! 1 button -_-. Normal mouse is not as good also. But windows xp is best. Not as stable as 98 se but very good, faster better easier and all

Linux with WINE and some windows emulators 0wnz for games. I can get Half-Life and everything on it. Gonna try Vice City on it soon. Quake 3 runs 10x as fast on Linux.

Any pc can run linux, it is normally x86 just like windows. The only difference in base architecture is it isn't total bulls*hit like windows xp (cos microsoft reckon they coded it on a unix base, total BS! It's NT based!).

Actually Linux is better than Windows, You can do ANYTHING on it as long as you know how to do it. indows works witht he same code as linux, only its hidden so you can't alter it. I know I would want to use linux if I knew how to use it, but I don't.

There is rumours windows is based on unix which is also the base of linux. They DO NOT have the same code. The only similarity is that they are based on the x86 arcitechture which means they will run on an x86 processor from the 286 right through to the Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon. Of course, Windows would never ever work on a 286, but you get the point.
