I have a few light questions...

#1. I want a light to be able to be turned on and off.

#2. I want the alien lights to work in my map like they do in the game.(you know, where they turn off if you get to close and on again once you move away)

the alien lights are entities that will automatically do that. look at the bottom of the entity list for xen_light or something like that. to turn a light on and off just target it somehow. not sure about texlights, i think they have to be entities for it to work. :/

Thanks but when i put a Xen_light in my map it just closes up when you get to close and opens when your far again... it doesn't even have its own light... but if I knew how to turn a light on and off then I could use a trigger multiple too turn it on and off, but i don't how.

Have a read of the xen_plantlight entity in the Entity Guide it explains how to make it turn on and off.
