ok im totally new to all this mapping thing iev read the tutorial on how to set it up and make a map BUT every time i go to compile i get loads of errors :confused: is there anywhere i can post the txt file?

Hit Alt-P in Hammer first and fix all the errors in there, if any, and recompile.

If there are still errors, post the compile log here.

Feel free to post the error.log here in this forum.
If you can't find the error.log, then the compile log is Ok..
I will edit it.

Either post yourmapname.err (text file) (preferred), or yourmapname.log (text too).

its allrite i found out the problem well a friend did it for me but thanks for all the people willing to help in here :) but im confused on how to make corridors can sum1 maybe explain it a little better than the tutorial on here because it confuses me :confused: lol

That's for fancy corridors. Look at the In The Beginning tutorials.

2 ways to make corridors: you can use the quick way which can fill your map with loads of errors by creating a block and carving (we have tuts on it or you can use the hammer help file) OR you can make each surface brush individually which gives you more control but can take longer when you first start off with this techniuqe.

Ts as in terrorists? You use an info_player_deathmatch to designate Terrorist starts.

to remove the buyzone just make it relly small in a place people cant reach.
