Do you mean adding your signature so it is visible when you play a map?
If so you need to create a new texture and include that.
Read all the Texture tutorials first...
Then ask if it still doesn't work.

Maybe you mean put the readme at the start? Yourmapname.txt.

Yes, but I wouldn't try it yet. Practise just mapping, then read the Custom Textures tutorial, that's the one you want.

And use punctuation when asking things! You will be taken a whole lot more seriously.

There is a way to do it, but as Seventh said, your a bit too much of a learner to go around doing these things. You need a program called 'Wally' which allows you to make your own .wad files (textures), in which you can make your signature, save it as a wad file, and then add into hammer.

If you use Custom Textures, make sure you -wadinclude them (Needs ZHLT Compile Tools [there is a tutorial on this site about how to do wadincludes]) or include the .wad with the map if you submit it.

All of that is covered in the tutorial when you reckon you want to give it a shot. You could try it now if you really want, and are decently computer-literate.

Practise lots.

yeah, good idea to stop people copying your levels (not mentionin any names) would be to hide a signature somewhere.......
