i was wondering if i can make a hostage entitie walk into a room and a piece of roof falls on him.. can that be done in counter-strike?? and how would i do that?? :lol:

Easy to do in HL. You want to read the Scripted tutorial, maybe look at the script-related example map. It's pretty easy to figure out.

I believe that at some point in the development of CS you could still add a func_vehicle to your map manually, so I don't know whether the term if its not in the CS fgd, you cant.. is correct. I also have a hard time imagining that the code has actually been removed, it is however very possible and likely that the scripted_sequence won't work.

in my cs fgd there is an fgd. just for a little info, the hostage entity was based off of monster_scientist so it might be possible, I would try it :

Not necessarily.

The FGD file just makes things easier for the mapper by controlling the SmartEdit function. It's possible to map without a full FGD if you know the key names and such.
