how do u get steam ids? sry for noobish question, but i don't know how.

When you install it, it will ask you for an id.

Make one up, along with a password you'll remember (hopefully), and click "Ok" (or whatever the button is).

If that id is already taken, you'll have to pick another one or modify the one you have. You could try "toonton." If it's already taken, try "toonton007" or something and see if that's taken.

You don't get an id ahead of time; you pick one when you install it and run it.

immm not that type of id, i mean STEAM id... rememaber the won id? all those numbers eh, anyways i think steam has samething... u know, its like 1452156325560 or something i don't know

You'll get that assigned to you with your account.

Or are you asking how you find out what yours is? Try 'status' or 'users' in the console.

Type 'status' in the console. Look under your name. That should do the trick.

you should only do that if your on a internet server, if you do it in lan there is a possiblity you get your steam lan id. thats not valid for internet
